Very complete dictionary, includes conjugation of verbs and its totally user friendly.
a very good and easy to use dictionary that has so far found every word I was looking for. it also offers all conjugations of the verbs, which is a great feature.
This French dictionary is the best available for the iPhone. It offers a vast collection of words and definitions, not to mention conjugations, synonyms, and idiomatic expressions. Best of all, it allows you to search phonetically for words, or partial words, or conjugated verbs, even if you dont know how theyre spelled. Also, the words in each definition are hyperlinked so that you can go directly to the definitions of any words you dont understand. The games included in this app will definitely help French learners increase their vocabulary. The interface is attractive and easy to use. All in alll, an excellent app and well worth the money. Ive bought many dictionary apps for language learning. For French I bought both Larrouse and Le Robert, and I believe that le Robert is much more serious than Larrouse, although the latter is cheaper. The definition is precise and comprehensive, it is very much like the paper edition of Le Petit Robert.
You can even find the indefinetive verb when you seach a conjugated verb, which means you dont have to carry the heavy conjugation books again. It is the best dictionary that Ive come across. If I bought this first, then I wouldnt need to buy any other French-French dictionary app.

Bought this app as suggested by my French prof. Very quick, very user friendly. I appreciate the verb conjugations. I would suggest, however the inclusion of the IPA word spelling. It is included in the hard copy so I dont know why its not here. It would be helpful in speaking and I would make great use of it when checking homework for my phonetics class. IPA for conjugated words would also be very helpful.
Dico Malin is the most useful tool I have yet to use with the iPhone. I can check the spelling, correct word usage when I have to write in French. Plus the game is actually useful.
I have never played any games on my iPhone or my Mac for that matter. Now with Dico Malin, I can actually make good use of my time while waiting at an airport or for an appointment as I learn new words!
Way cool! Hope Diagonal make a French Enlgish dictionary for the iPhone soon. The one Diagonal makes for the Mac, along with their application, "ProLexis" is just fabulous for anyone learning French, teaching French, or writing in French. Thanks, Diagonal!
